Livery design to celebrate the Defender’s 75th Anniversary for Land Rover.

Over time Land Rover has evolved but the soul has remained the same.

To emphasize this concept, the inner structure of the car was emphasized to communicate its elegant, innovative, and fresh spirit.

I worked with Beatrice Dogliani during the entirety of this project. She is an enthusiast about interactive design and new media.

Our design was chosen by International Motors. Two augmented reality features were included in the final presentation.

Guests could scan the QR code with their smart device to see the Defender’s evolution right before their eyes.

The first AR feature is based on proximity, meaning when you walk towards or away with your phone specific images of the car will be seen.

The 2nd AR feature incorporates the stickers, which were placed on all the Defenders at the event.

The event merchandise highlighted the Defender’s innovative progression.
